In addition to the popular MTB-Marathon with its seven distances between 22 and 210 kilometers, this year there is a third, technically easier Gravel-Track with 52 kilometers and approx. 1,200 meters of elevation difference.
The Dachstein-Salzkammergut Region offers the perfect setting for gravel bikers - with its most stunning mountain views, pristine mountain lakes, and a vast network of gravel, forest, and paved side roads.

The power station on the River Traun will once again offer a reservation-based service for campers. The site will provide WC and shower containers, electricity, and running drinking tab water. Reservations are possible as of now.
If you would like to combine your Trophy participation with a vacation stay, we recommend using the pitches or campsites in Hallstatt, Obertraun, on Lake Wolfgangsee or in any other village of the Salzkammergut. On race day, there are plenty of parking spaces available along the main road in Bad Goisern.
Also check out the Dachstein-Salzkammergut Tourist Board booking system offering some rooms from two or three nights in Bad Ischl, at the Traunsee; the Ausseerland-Salzkammergut online platform has bookable accommodations for just one night.

Each lodge has three bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, its own sauna, living room with a great couch and a small kitchen, a hallway with wardrobe as well as a storeroom for the bikes.
It's about 20 kilometers away from Goisern respectively Obertraun. For a small fee it is also possible to book a Transfer to the start in Bad Goisern.

But it is also a bucket-list experience not to be missed and an atmosphere that every mountain bike fan should experience at least once in their life. Also the routes are among the most scenic Austria has to offer.
However, in the heat of the moment, hardly anyone enjoys the secnery to the full. Not to mention the recreational and swimming opportunities to the left and right along the tracks. Therefore we highly recommend to all our Trophy participants and their companions: just add a few days' vacation explorimg the region in more detail.
Our partner Oberösterreich Touristik not only offers accommodation, but also has many package deals for cyclists and mountain bikers, such as the popular Dachstein Circuit. The UNESCO World Heritage region around Lake Hallstatt is a dream-come-true for outdoor adventures or active family vacation. We will be happy to assit you!

With this slogan in mind more than 3.500 participants from 39 nations were full-on at the seven MTB courses and two gravel tracks of the Salzkammergut Trophy 2024! At 09.21 pm, the last finisher of the extreme distance crossed the finish line cheered by an enthusiastic crowd. Same as in the previous year, the winners were Philip Handl (Team Ischgl Simplon) and Bianca Somavilla (Team deniflcycling.com)
We would like to congratulate all the finishers on their amazing perfomances!
Also, thanks a million for the numerous emails regarding your personal, often very funny experiences, inputs, ideas as well as suggested improvements.
