A new event will take place for the first time: the hill climb, which starts at the Marktplatz in Bad Goisern at 9:00 am on Sunday! Tackle the 5,1 kilometre distance with 478 meters altitude difference. The entry fee is 12,- Euros plus an additional 6,- Euro for bikers without ÖRV or UCI licence. The number of participants is limited to 200 bikers in the first year.

Endurance sports considerably contribute to feeling of being independent of one’s real age and being able to act this way. On popular demand by the best agers, we are hosting for the first time an AK5 on the extreme course! Therefore we offer this year on all six distances a total of 19 categories for the ladies and 24 for the men – therefore a total of 129 trophies!

ASVÖ SCOTT Junior Trophy With more than 300 starters, the ASVÖ SCOTT Junior Trophy has become Austria’s biggest mountain bike competition for kids and youngsters. Start and finish are at the Goiserer Marktplatz on July 15, 2012. The courses have been carefully selected and adjusted to the according age group. Boys and girls will start together, however they will be separately rated.
All participants receive in the finish a gingerbread medal as well as Trophy t-shirt. During the winners’ ceremony around 04:00 pm, great non-cash prizes will be raffled among the present participants. The first prizes are a SCOTT mountain bike of your choice worth up to 1.500 Euros and a pair of Fisher ski.

MME Series – Free Jersey On the 29th of April, Europe’s biggest mountain bike marathon series opens the season 2012 at Lake Garda. Those who still would like to join the series after Riva, can book a late entry – three marathons for 119,- Euro – until mid of May. Every participant will receive as gift either the sought-after MME Jersey or as an alternative a set of arm and leg warmers in MME design.

The black T-Shirts for the finisher of the Trophy extreme course have a long tradition. This year, the souvenir T-shirts for all other distances are available in four different colours! So choose between chamois, green flash, French blue and limestone mottled.

 

 

Every year in early summer, the MondSeeLand (MoonLakeRegion) turns into a Mecca for street cycling fans. On the occasion of this mega event, the picturesque town center with its famous basilica of the Monastery Mondsee is transformed to a cycling arena. The Mondsee 5-Lakes bike marathon, being part of the Austria4Cup, offers four distances suitable for every capability. On the long course the five lakes Wolfgangsee, Hallstättersee, Traunsee, Attersee and Mondsee are stringing together like a pearl necklace. At this year’s 26th competition, more than 2.000 participants from more than 20 nations are expected.
