On the 52,9 and 114,3 km distances the limit of participants has been reached. Late entries on site for those two distances are not possible anymore!

However on the extreme distance and on the two shorter distances there are still vacant starting positions! Late entries are possible on Friday from 03:00 pm until 09:00 pm and on Saturday up to an hour before each start of the 37,1 and 27,3 km distances.

Visitors can also follow the race on a 16 square meter video wall in the start/finishing area and/or on the numerous plasma screens in the pavilion. Those who are not able to come to Bad Goisern, check out our Trophy homepage where we have every hour wrap-ups of all starts, course highlights as well as finisher and winners... In total there are going to be 8 camera teams producing about 20 video-on-demand films. www.trophy.at/video

The Upper Austria Mountain Sprint for the salt crystal on the Hallstatt salt mountain. Besides this much-sought after Trophy there will be also a pair of Fischer Tour X-Tralite "Hans Kammerlander” for the fastest man and woman.

The time from the valley station of the cable car until the Knappenhaus will be clocked. Eligible are all bikers of the courses A and B. However under the precondition that both winners of the sprint rating have to reach the finish in Bad Goisern within the time limit!

A huge rush also at the two unicyclists competitions, where already more than 60 participants have signed up! The marathon on Saturday has a distance of 27,3 kilometers. And on Sunday there will be the down hill race. The mass start for this spectacular race will take place at the Berghotel Predigstuhl. For those daredevils a 4,1 kilometer long downhill is waiting with almost 500 meter altitude difference along hiking trails and a former toboggan run!

Kids and youngsters in the age group from three to 16 may demonstrate their skills at the Junior-Trophy on Sunday. Far-off from heavy road traffic and next to the Nordic sports center in Ramsau there is a great varied course running through the woods and along the meadows offering also an ideal infrastructure for this competition.

The tracks have been carefully selected and adjusted according to the age of the junior bikers. The top five girls and boys of each age group will receive a cup respectively a certificate which will be presented during the Trophy's final ceremony in the pavilion on the Market Square of Bad Goisern.

HOLMENKOL, official partner of the Salzkammergut Trophy, invites you - as a participant of the Trophy - exclusively to the "Bike Race Support Program"! This Bike Race Support Program is exclusively reserved for active bike racers and includes among others the following:

Besides the Slow Motion Rating there is also a Team Rating where the performance itself is predominating. On the courses B and C 4 bikers can make a team, on the extreme distance up to 6 bikers can join one team. In both cases only the three fastest bikers of a team are rated!

Participants of the SlowMotion Rating can in addition also sign up for a team rating. Just add to your Slow Motion Team name an "additional number"! for example:

Per club and course three teams can register at the max. However it is not possible to register for two different teams in the SlowMotion Rating and Team Rating

Please print the PDF file, fill in name, starting number resp. birth date of all team members and hand it in at the starting number distribution or fax it in advance to +43-6135/832974

Numerous of exhibitors will present the latest and up to date bike innovations and novelties on Friday afternoon and on Saturday. For all participating bikers: many booths offer a free of charge service before the race! Some of the exhibitors present their latest bike models which may be tested right on the spot! There is practically no vacancy left in Bad Goisern. However there is still accommodation available in Obertraun and Gosau and there is a Shuttle-Service from the hotels to the start in Bad Goisern.

On the soccer field of the SV Bad Goisern there will be again a camp from July 15th until Sunday 19th and in the gym of the high school Hauptschule I in Bad Goisern there will be possible to camp on mattresses from Friday until Sunday

For their title races 2009 the mountain bike marathon World elite will meet again on the notorious trails north of Austria's second biggest city. The very same WC course over 105 km (3.768 altitude difference) will also stage the UEC Masters European Championships! Two additional trails with 67 km and 35 km are available for amateurs!
