For you personalized race number register before June 24
Less than 3 weeks until the start of the Salzkammergut Trophy! All participants who register and pay the entry fee before June 24, receive a personalized race number. Upon availability it is possible to register one hour before the event.
Currently there are on the 76 km course with start in Obertraun only 25 entry slots vacant. On the extreme course we have increased the limit to 900; so far we received already 790 registrations. All other marathon-distances still have plenty of capacity.
The SCOTT Junior Trophy also has a distinct increase in entries! At the new Parcours-Competition kids and teens age 3 to 14 years may prove their technical biking skills. However there is going to be no timing, still every child will receive its own starting number, a Trophy T-Shirt as well as ginger bread medal. For the first time there will be separated competitions for girls and boys at the XC-Races.

Muni-Downhill on Sunday
Besides the Muni-Marathon, which is held as part of the Trophy on the 22,1 km and 37,9 km course, the unicycle downhill race is taken place for the 9th time this year. The mass start of this spectacular competition is at the Berghotel Predigstuhl at 09:00 am, and will be also rated again as the Austrian Championship.
At the start are last years’ winners from South Tyrol, the current World Champion Vera Hofer and Vice World Champion Laura Baumgartner, as well as Austria’s Champion Cornelia Panozzo. Among the men already four of the top ten of the last World Championship in Montreal have signed up! We are looking forward to welcoming World Champion Florian Rabensteiner, Gerald Rosenkranz (WC 3.), Lukas Huber (WC 5.) as well as Ben Soja (WC 8.)

The starting list of the „eMTB-Trophy epowered by Bosch is still shorter than the one of the Unicycle-Marathon! However the hit rates on our website demonstrate huge interest in this competition. Many local bikers are still considering tackling the course electrified. The attorney Bernhard Stimitzer from Goisern – tackling successfully the 54 km distance every year since 2008, was among the first to sign up for the eMTB-Trophy
Those who do not have an eMTB and still would like to participate, just borrow one for the race from the numerous exhibitors.

Arrival and Accommodations
Arrive in time – reside pleasantly – be relaxed at the start! Our partner businesses are located in Bad Goisern and vicinity, offering great service and any conceivable amenities for the perfect preparation.
From the hotels along the Traunsee, in Bad Ischl, Obertraun, Bad Mitterndorf and all other towns in between the fastest and most convenient way to arrive at the three different starting places is by train and it’s for free! In addition there is also a Taxi-Service to the start in Bad Goisern for only 5 Euros per person one way. There is also a special luggage service for backpacks and clothing! After the race the bikes may be deposit securely in the ABUS Parc Fermé.
Again, the soccer field will be turned into a camping site. The camp offers showers, cafeteria, bike wash area as well as free Wi-Fi. We also recommend the beautiful camping sites in Hallstatt, Obertraun as well as at the Lake Wolfgangsee.

Guided E-Bike-Tour with Guido Tschugg
Haibike-Pro Guido Tschugg is considered among the most successful mountain bikers in Germany – born in Allgau he managed podium finishes in 4cross, downhill and free ride at world cup as well as world championships. He tackled twice, as the only German participant, the "Red Bull Rampage – the World’s toughest mountain bike free ride event.
The 38 year old is the Haibike Testimonial regarding ePerformance. As part of the Salzkammergut-Trophy, e-bikers have the rare opportunity to be on tour with Guido Tschugg. The joined tour starts at the Haibike stand at the expo on July 9, at 12:45 hrs.
The Haibike-Crew also invites guests to coffee and cake or bacon sandwiches and Radler beer! For registration and reservations of test bikes, check out the Haibike-Stand on Friday or Saturday morning.

The proper nutrition during regeneration is an important success factor. After the training, recreation has top priority. A proper applied training stimulus will trigger adjustment reactions within the body. Therefore the “choice” of food after physical strain is decisive as the nutrients have a huge influence – among others – on the metabolic and hormonal stimulation thus on the training effect respectively the performance progress.
