17th Trophy – extreme course almost fully booked

More than 2.200 participants have already signed up for the 17th Salzkammergut Trophy on July 12, 2014. More than 550 entries already for the extreme course! The limit will be probably reached by mid of May! However, there are still plenty of starting slots available on the other distances.

Until 30th of April the entry fee is still cheaper – so register now and save 5 Euros!

Accommodations & mattress camping ...

There are still vacancies in Bad Ischl, Obertraun, Hallstatt, Gosau and in the Ausseerland. However in the center of Bad Goisern, there are only holiday flats for a week minimum available. The SV Bad Goisern soccer field will turn again into a camping site from July 7 until July 16. In case if needed, the gym of the "Neuen Mittelschule" (HS1) will provide for a mattress camping. However for an opening (Fri – Sun) of the facility a minimum of 20 pre-registrations are necessary. Please make a reservation via email to the Tourismusverband until the end of April.

Tip: Marathon in Prag

On June 14, the Genesis Bike Prague will take place for the 3rd time offering two courses with 35 km respectively 60 km. Starting at the outskirts in the 13th district, the course leads along field and forest tracks towards the south-western part of the Vltava metropolis.

This marathon is the opening race of the Intersport-Marathon Series and also offers a great opportunity to do some sightseeing in the “Golden City”.

July 5 - MB-Race Culture Vélo

The "MB-Race Culture Vélo" is one of the most difficult races in the World. It takes place in the „Domaine des Portes du Mont-Blanc“ region since 2010. The extreme course is 140 km long and has 7000 meter altitude difference. However, one can decide en route for the shorter distances (70 km / 3500 m alt. diff. or 100 km / 5000 m alt. diff.). On top of that, there is also a shorter and easier distance with 30 and 50 km as well as an enduro-race.
