Premiere for another major event beside the Salzkammergut Trophy: in 2014 the "UEC European Mountain Bike Marathon Masters Championships” will be hosted for the first time in Bad Goisern! Bikers form more than 22 nations were participating in the Masters EM in Graz/Stattegg.

Women will participate at 76,5 kilometre (2.246 difference in altitude) course in four different classes. The blue European Champion Jerseys will be awared to the men who must tackle the 119,5 kilometre course (3.838 m difference in altitude) in seven different classes.

The dates of the Bike24-MarathonMan Series 2014 are fixed. Those who already register now for the Cup will profit from a super reduced starting fee. The participation in three marathons is only 99,-- Euros! Every participant receives at the first race a pair compression and two pairs of bike socks from the MME-collection by Eleven-Sports

Winter is coming soon and the mountain bike will be exchanged for the home trainer and freshly waxed skis and snowboards are waiting for their first-time use. In order to increase the safety, the participants of the extreme course had to undergo the mandatory bike check again this year. In course of the inspection the following statistical data had been collected: the most popular bike brands among the bikers of the 211 km distance are Cannondale, Specialized and SCOTT.
 
In 2014 there will be also a bike-check up for the 120 km distance.

On the 30th of August one of the most beautiful marathons in Europe takes place: the Nationalpark Bike-Marathon in Scuol (SUI). The long distance with its 137 km and 4010 m altitude difference circles the whole Swiss National Park and leads partly through the Italian Stelvio National Park. In addition there are course with 104, 66 und 47 km as well as a relays competition.

The Mountain Bike Marathon on Cran Canaria is the perfect location for a spring training camp! The date is again the first weekend in April of next year!  From April 3 until 6, 2014, bikers from all over Europe may expect an exciting program offering everything a biker’s heart desires!  Since it is the 10th anniversary, the organizers came up with special ideas – so enjoy 4 days of shear MTB race experience.
