With this slogan in mind more than 3.500 participants from 39 nations were full-on at the seven MTB courses and two gravel tracks of the Salzkammergut Trophy 2024! At 09.21 pm, the last finisher of the extreme distance crossed the finish line cheered by an enthusiastic crowd. Same as in the previous year, the winners were Philip Handl (Team Ischgl Simplon) and Bianca Somavilla (Team deniflcycling.com)
We would like to congratulate all the finishers on their amazing perfomances!
Also, thanks a million for the numerous emails regarding your personal, often very funny experiences, inputs, ideas as well as suggested improvements. There is still a lot of follow-up work to do over the next few days and weeks, however thank you for your understanding as we may not be able to answer all your emails.

So matter what your performance level is, the marathon in Bad Goisern offers the perfect distance for every participant, from an easy 22 kilometers over 37, 55, 80, 127 to smashing 210 kilometers as well as the technically challenging "All-Mountain" competition with more than 58 kilometers. In addition, there will be a Gravel Marathon with two courses and furthermore on Sunday the Scott Junior Trophy for kids and youngsters between 5 and 14 years.

A new place for a camp has been found at the Traun power station, but only for the three nights from July 11 to 14. If you would like to combine your Trophy participation with a vacation stay, we recommend using the pitches or campsites in Hallstatt, Obertraun, on Lake Wolfgangsee or in any other village of the Salzkammergut. On race day, there are plenty of parking spaces available along the main road in Bad Goisern.
The fastest and best way to reach the start is to take the special trains, being free of charge for all participants, including bike transport. The train station in Bad Goisern is only 400 meters away from the start/finish line and offers a luggage service for rucksacks, bags and clothing from 04.30 am to 10:00 pm.
The last train to Bad Ischl or Gmunden departs from Bad Goisern at 09:34 pm.
Trains to Obertraun leave every hour until shortly after 11:00 pm. From Hallstatt and Gosau there is again a Taxi-Service as of 04:00 am on Saturday at a special price of 10 euros per person and ride.
Also check out the Dachstein-Salzkammergut Tourist Board booking system offering some rooms from two or three nights in Bad Ischl, at the Traunsee; the Ausseerland-Salzkammergut online platform has bookable accommodations for just one night.

The new course maps are online! The elevation charts will be available for download at the beginning of June. However, the sections marked in pink may only be used as of July 5th! Please respect this restriction and avoid these sections until then!

The Austrian Sports Resorts is idyllically embedded between Lake Hallstatt and the famous Dachstein. It offers a phenomenal range of sports facilities with an athletics track, climbing hall, two beach volleyball courts, table tennis room, five tennis courts, a weight room, soccer pitches and has its own access to Lake Hallstatt including a boathouse for activities such as swimming, rowing, kayaking, canoeing or stand-up paddling.
And especially for mountain bikers, there is a cross-country training track as well as small pump track on the premises.
The resort offers 209 beds, and on the Trophy weekend there are also pitches for motorhomes available. The start of the gravel and C-course is just one kilometer from the resort. Also on July 13, you may take the ÖBB trains free of charge to the other contests in Bad Goisern. There is also a luggage service for rail travelers and the return trip to Obertraun is possible until 11:18 pm.
