July 15 – is already a fixture in the marathon fans’ calendar! Almost 1.500 entries – 400 of them for the extreme distance for the 20th edition of the Salzkammergut Trophy! Once again, more than 4.500 bikers from more than 40 nations are expected tackling one of the seven different long distances. Those who register in February will benefit from the reduced entry rate. Therefore register now and save 5 Euros!
The All-Mountain course with start in Bad Ischl will be reduced by 5 kilometers and will have 250 meters altitude difference less. New in 2017: a special rating for Gravel-Bikes on the C course! The Bosch eMTB-Trophy with more than 37 km – hosted for the first time last year – will be held in the same scoring modus in 2017. Three course sections are going to be rated again, still the whole distance has to be accomplished within a certain time limit. Those who want to experience the Uphill-Flow of an eMTB, have plenty of opportunity during the Trophy weekend. At the Expo additional 100 e-mountain bikes will be available for testing as well as guided eMTB tours.

New! Gravel-Rating on the C-Course
For the 20th anniversary of the Salzkammergut-Trophy, there will be for the first time a special Gravel-Bike rating. Start will be on the C-Course with an “external- start” in Obertraun tackling more than 76 km and 2.400 meters altitude difference. Before the participants reach the finish at the Bad Goisern Market Square they pass such Trophy highlights like the Hallstätter Salzberg and the breathtaking Lake Gosau.
Two thirds of the C-Course runs along gravel and forest roads ideal for cross and cross country bikes. There is going to be a special women as well as a men classification. Times are also rated among the
Slow-Motion-Rating. However please note that in the various age groups and team ratings as well as at any other Trophy special ratings one may only participate with a mountain bike!
