Salzkammergut Trophy 2016 - Register Now

Registration for the 19th Salzkammergut Mountainbike Trophy is possible as of now! For the toughest among all Trophy participants the 9^th of July starts again at 05:00 am – the start of the extreme distance on the Market Square of Bad Goisern. Incredible 211 km and 7.119 meters altitude difference is waiting for the participants of one of hardest mountain bike marathons in the World. Besides the extreme distance, the Trophy offers courses with 22, 37, 53, 76 and 119 km suitable for all performance levels, as well as a technically challenging 60 km All-Mountain“-Marathon.

Registration for Unicycle-Downhill, Unicycle-Marathon and for the new E-Bike-competition is also possible as of now. We are planning some changes regarding the SCOTT Junior Trophy, more details beginning of December.

NEW: „E-Bike Trophy“

In 2016, as part of the Salzkammergut Trophy, there will be for the first time a contest for pedelecs. The 36 km long course has about 1.200 meter altitude difference. The timing will take place at three course sections only. Two climbs and the last trail before the finish are going to be rated, still the whole distance has be tackled within a certain time limit. Those who want to have a top rating need make sure that they bike most economically between the sections.

Those who do not have an e-bike yet, have various opportunities to inform themselves at the Bike-Expo during the Trophy weekend. More than 80 exhibitors present the latest products in the bike scene; many stands provide also test bikes by renowned producers. There are also going to be guided e-bike test tours along the mountains of Bad Goisern.

Not too long from now: the mountain bike will be exchanged for home trainers and freshly waxed skis and snowboards wait for their first action.

The Holiday region Dachstein Salzkammergut has plenty to offer also during winter. 142 km snow guaranteed slopes are waiting for you in the Ski Resort Dachstein West, including fun-pistes providing great action and a lot of variety.

Bike24 MarathonMan series
Dates 2016

The dates of the Bike24-MarathonMan Series 2016 are fixed. Those who already register now for the Cup will profit from a super reduced starting fee. The participation in three marathons is only 109,-- Euros! Every participant receives a pair of bike pants from the MME Collection by Eleven-Sports for free at the first race!

Masters EC in Bad Goisern!

Bad Goisern will host the UEC Masters European Championship on July 9^th2016. Eligible are all licensed bikers born 1986 or older. The women start in Obertraun on a 76,0 km distance (2.446 altitude difference) in three different categories. The men will tackle a 119,5 km distance (3.838 altitude difference) in seven categories for the blue European Champion Jersey.
